School opens for Saturday of fun
ROLL up, roll up. Parklands Christian College is having their annual open day fete this Saturday, September 4 and it's going to be bigger and better than ever.
This year the fete will have fireworks, pony rides, baby farm animals and show rides, with the fun starting at 2pm and going until 7pm.
There will also be a $5 Father's Day stall so people can get last minute Father's Day gifts.
The school's P&F president, Lynda Bettenay, said classrooms would also be open for viewing and teachers would be available to answer any questions regarding the college.
“The main focus is opening up the school to the community so they can see what we do and who we are,” she said.
“It's an informal way for them to see us.”
Parklands Christian College is located on 11 Hillcrest Road in Park Ridge.
For more information about the open day fete phone the school on 3380 4200.
