Beauty and the Geek's millionaire unmasked

And the millionaire is.... Nathan!
And the millionaire is.... Nathan!

BRISBANE computer programmer Nathan has come forward as Beauty and the Geek's secret millionaire.

The 25-year-old decided to reveal his secret to team mate Jessica and best mates, fellow Queenslanders Jason and Kristy, during a 25-hour hugging challenge on tonight's show.

"I think we've built a bit of a trust in this room so I have a bit of a secret," he said.

"The secret millionaire in the house is me."

Flight attendant Jessica was clearly floored by the news.

"I started getting all hot and sweaty," she said.

"I got palpitations. I think I was having a heart attack or anxiety attack."

His identity was then revealed to the rest of the contestants and there were plenty of shocked faces.

Nathan seemed relieved to finally get rid of his burden.

"After keeping this secret for so long from everyone in the house it was feeling good to finally be able to tell some people," he said.

Beauty and the Geek has a $100,000 grand prize but he said he had other motivations for going on the reality show.

"Something I've never had is the confidence to talk to people in the real world," he said.

"I've been able to hide behind a lap top screen for a long time."

Will Nathan's wealth make him more attractive to the beauties, or jeopardise his and Jessica's future on the show?

They survived tonight's elimination, but only time will tell.

Jessica certainly seems keen to protect her geek from any potential gold diggers.

"If any of the beauties start getting closer to Nathan, magically, just because he's a millionaire, I won't let it happen," she said.
