Elderly woman hit by car at Maroochydore

PARAMEDICS are treating an elderly woman who was struck by a car in Maroochydore.

The woman, believed to be in her 70s, was hit while crossing Horton Pde, outside the Big Top Shopping Centre.

Police have been called to direct traffic around the crash.

The woman was believed to be a stable condition.

Cash stolen from ATM

At about 4:20pm on 1-Mar-2016 a person attended an ATM within a Beenleigh shopping centre to make a cash withdrawal. After completion, this person walked off accidently leaving their bank card in the machine. It is alleged two persons, a male and female who were standing behind, located the card in the machine and proceeded to withdraw funds.
