THE stage is set and the curtains are ready to be drawn ahead of this weekends performance of Stuart Little.
Actors and actresses from the Beenleigh Theatre Group will be performing the much loved musical based children's story which is based on the book by EB White.
The audience will be taken on an adventure of a lifetime as they follow the story of a little Mouse named Stuart who was born into a human family where to strives to survive as the underdog in a real persons world.
We follow Stuart's adventures in the streets and parks of New York and when one day Mrs Little rescues a sick bird, Margalo, they become the best of friends.
Life has taken a turn for the worse for Snowbell, the Little's cat, already jealous of being pushed aside with the arrival of Stuart, is now again insulted when Margalo joins the family and he's not allowed to eat her either.
With encouragement from a very naughty feline friend, Snowbell plots the demise of Margalo.
Margalo receives a frightening note from a friend to say her life is in danger, so she decides to leave her wonderful new home and run away back to the country.
Stuart is heartbroken; he sets off to the country to find Margalo.
The show will be performed from Saturday, June 23 until Saturday, July 7 at 2pm and 7.30pm on Saturday's and 2pm on Sunday's.
Tickets to the show are $20 for adults, $15 for concession and $10 for children.
