A LARGE crowd has gathered at Ipswich's St Paul's Anglican Church for the funeral of Allison Baden-Clay.

Reports from the church say as many as 1000 people are in attendance, with many spilling out of the church and watching proceedings on an outdoor screen.

There is a strong police presence outside the church.

Ms Baden-Clay's body was found in a creek at Mt Crosby on April 30 and police have since launched a murder investigation.

Family and friends will say their final farewell at St Paul's at 11am before laying Ms Baden-Clay to rest.

A large media contingent has also set up equipment outside the church.
