Murdered Bundy mother identified
THE Bundaberg woman allegedly murdered by her son has been identified as Roxane Jones.
Ms Jones' body was found in her silver 1999 Kia Sportage, in Gladstone bushland on Saturday.
Her son, Horace Jones, 19, has been charged with her murder and has been remanded in custody until September 24, after a brief mention in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Gladstone Police spent yesterday searching Ms Jones' home for evidence relating to her death.
The 38-year-old mother's body was sent to Rockhampton for an autopsy on Tuesday but the results have not yet been released.
