Paris' Chinese-style pagoda

La Pagode.
La Pagode. Lost at E Minor

A CINEMA I love in Paris is La Pagode, a Chinese-style pagoda that was brought to France, piece by piece, in 1895 by Monsieur Morin who had it rebuilt in his garden as a gift for his wife.

It is one of the oldest cinemas in Paris, with pressed tin walls and a Japanese bamboo garden. It's really beautiful, and for some reason, never crowded.

I usually go there alone and join a few older retirees. A wonderful way to spend a few much needed lost hours.
