Rising Star nomination for Talia
HE only had seven disposals in the team's four-point win against St Kilda on Friday night.
But his effort in keeping Saints captain Nick Riewoldt to just nine disposals and two goals has earned Adelaide defender Daniel Talia the AFL Rising Star nomination for round 12.
Talia, taken by the Crows at pick 13 in the 2009 national draft, played the final nine games last season as the club tried to fast-track his development after losing key defenders Nathan Bock and Phil Davis to expansion clubs.
