THERE were no surprises on the Gold Coast on Saturday as St Kilda steamrolled the Suns by 95 points.

Guy McKenna's Gold Coast team remains winless after 11 rounds of football, after the Saints won in a canter, 21.18 (144) to 7.7 (49).

There was not much to learn in St Kilda's performance, but the Saints did what was necessary to win their fifth game of the year.

St Kilda out-tackled the Suns by 58 - 47.

St Kilda's Sean Dempster told Grandstand that the Saints had made a conscious effort to keep their defensive effort up for four quarters against the Gold Coast.
