AS we replace the old calendars with the fresh pages of a new 2013 edition, Logan residents can look forward to a happy and prosperous year.

Well at least Logan medium Selena Hill thinks so.

Channelling the angels from her Cedar Vale home, Mrs Hill said Logan was set to experience a year of low crime and mateship as the city banded together to become closer than ever before.

"The angels showed me a heart beat motion with highs and lows, which is what it is like for many people," Mrs Hill said.

"Looking at it as a whole, there is going to be more people having positive experiences rather than negative experiences."

After a year of numerous ram raids and armed robberies, Mrs Hill predicted the crime rate would plummet this year.

"In regards to crime, my angels are telling me police have it under control," she said.

"They are saying to me everyone has had enough, so the police are really stepping up their game, and it is important everyone knows that.

"I got chills when I said that, which is the angel's way of confirming what I say.

"What they do is run energy through your aura and give you goosebumps."

Mrs Hill said the community would rally together and form close bonds with their neighbours.

"The angels are asking everyone to support each other," she said.

"When everybody has someone to help them through a tough time, there is a stronger strength behind one."

The beginning of the year is usually a busy time for mediums and psychics, with an influx of people wanting to know what the year ahead has in store for them.

The questions were all basically the same, according to Mrs Hill.

"A lot of people come in and ask me questions such as am I going to be rich? Where is my soul mate? Are my kids going to be happy and healthy? And questions about their career," she said.
