SHAILER Park’s Luke Brattan has signed a three-year senior contract with A-League club, Brisbane Roar.
The former Rochedale Rovers player caught the eye of Roar mentor, Ange Postecoglou, with his outstanding youth league performances.
He was called up for the first-team’s away clash against Perth Glory last December, coming on as a substitute in the 58th minute to make his A-League debut.
The 19-year-old attack-minded midfielder said he was looking forward to his first pre-season with the club, setting himself the workable goal of making as many league appearances as he could in his debut season.
“It’s good to see that the other young guys can do it, so hopefully I can make it,” the English-born Brattan said.
