FOR 50 years, Motorama has been the trusted car dealer to buy new and used cars from.

Since Motorama was founded in Beenleigh in 1960, dealerships at Springwood, Moorooka, Salisbury and Hillcrest have begun trading.

Motorama Toyota and Mitsubishi at Hillcrest are ensuring the Motorama name lives on for many years to come in the Logan area.

Established in 2002, Motorama Toyota at Hillcrest on Anzac Avenue only had two staff members, but over the eight years, it has become one of the leading and most respected automotive retailers in Logan, now employing more than 20 people in its sales department and 15 in their service department.

Since the company opened up their Mitsubishi dealership (located also on Anzac Avenue) about 12 months ago, it has continued to flourish.

Each month Motorama Toyota and Mitsubishi at Hillcrest helps more than 100 clients with their motoring needs.

General sales manager, Terry Rigney – who opened the Hillcrest site in 2002 – said Motorama Toyota and Mitsubishi at Hillcrest had become a “one stop shop” for purchasing a vehicle.

“We have all the vehicles here,” Mr Rigney explained.

“We have a full range of Toyota’s which includes passenger, 4x4s and commercial and full range of Mitsubishi with Lancers, Tritons and Pajeros very strong in the local area.

“We also have 80 to 100 used cars at our two dealerships and there are another 700 cars in the other Motorama locations for our customers to choose from.

“We’re like a one stop shop. Customers can come in and not only purchase a vehicle but we can attend to all their finance needs making buying a car at Motorama Hillcrest an easy satisfying experience.

“Plus we have after-sales service with our two workshops, so customers are looked after by our highly qualified technicians.”

Motorama Toyota and Mitsubishi at Hillcrest is set to grow even bigger as it is soon to undergo a redevelopment with a whole new dealership and workshop on the current site.

But Mr Rigney said the beauty of Motorama Toyota and Mitsubishi at Hillcrest was its commitment to giving back to the community.

“We think it’s vitally important to give back to the community whenever we can,” he said.

“We not only employ people in the community, but we give back to it as much as possible.”
