Under 8's celebrate

IT'S great to be under eight. Especially if you're a student at St Bernadine's School in Regents Park.

The school held an Under 8's day recently, and students between prep and year three were able to move freely between face painting, bubble blowing, paper airplane modelling, chalk art and using their hands to play in goo.

They could also learn hip hop dancing and the school's Adopt-A-Cop brought in his police car for students to have a look at.

Principal, Mike Aspland, said the annual event was one of the most popular and successful days in the school's calendar.

“The creativity demonstrated and enjoyment experienced by the students is invaluable,” he said.
