Le Prou's boot helps Logan City prevail in decider

BENJAMIN Le Prou's boot proved the difference as the Logan City Saints clinched the Brisbane Colts 2 Pool B title at Ballymore on Saturday.

The fullback landed five penalties and a conversion as the Saints downed GPS 27-24 in the grand final.

After finishing minor premiers, the Saints were denied a clear run into the decider with GPS eclipsing Logan City 20-14 in the major semi-final.

But the Saints got their chance to avenge the loss, after progressing into the grand final with a comfortable 25-14 victory over University of Queensland in the preliminary final on August 28.
