UPDATE: The search for five Home Hill children is over

UPDATE 3.26pm: 

THE five children who disappeared from Home Hill this morning have been found safe and well.

Someone known to the children took them to the Townsville Police Station about 1.30pm.

Police are no longer need public assistance to locate the 31-year-old man who was believed to be in their company, but investigations are continuing.

INITIAL:  POLICE need your help to find five children who may be at "significant risk".

The children are a boy aged six and four girls aged five, four, one and two months.

They are believed to be travelling in a car in the company of a 31-year-old man, Zane Smallwood.

They were last seen on Third Avenue in Home Hill in north Queensland.

The car is a grey coloured 2002 Ford Falcon sedan with Queensland registration 947-WKD.
