IF Aaron Woods does make his reported switch to the Bulldogs, centre Josh Morris says that could mean the end for himself and other Canterbury players at Belmore.

Wests Tigers captain Woods is reported to be close to signing for the Dogs on a long-term deal ahead of the clash between the two teams on Sunday.

Morris, James Graham and Moses Mbye are among those who could be moved on to accommodate Woods, but while he had not been told anything yet, the Kangaroos centre was a realist.

"It would be nice to have a front-rower of his calibre," said Morris, who is off-contract in 2018.

"We've got some pretty good ones here. It'd be nice to have him as an addition.

"But obviously if he comes, players have got to go. I guess it's up to the club and their decision on what they want to do with him.

"(Loyalty would) be nice to have, but at the same time you've got to be a realist. Football is a business these days.

"If you're going to have a player like Aaron Woods come to the club, then players have got to move on. That's up to the club to decide. We've just got to focus on football and winning."

Woods was pictured having lunch with a number of Bulldogs players on Wednesday, including second-rower Adam Elliott and fellow forwards David Klemmer and Josh Jackson.

"I got there late so I paid for the three of us and I think he might've shouted the boys on the way out, I'm not sure. He's a good fella like that," Elliott joked yesterday.

"Everyone knows how close him and Klem are, and he's been on tours and stuff with Jacko. I'd say that is something that would interest Woodsy.

"It's always good coming to a place when you know you've got relationships with people already there.

"And the fact that he's played with them in rep sides as well goes to show they're the same calibre sort of player he is. I'd say that is something that's pretty attractive to him."
